How much does it cost to take the written test?
The fee is $45 per test.
What if I don’t pass?
You may make an appointment to test again. Only one test per day is allowed and you will need to pay the testing fee.
What if I don’t have a car to test in?
We do not rent our school cars for testing customers at this time. Teen Drivers Ed Students who attended their course with Spokane MotorSchool may use our school cars, please contact the office to schedule.
How much does it cost to take the driving (skills) test?
The fee is $60 per test.
Is the license testing included with a drivers education course?
Teen Drivers Ed Students who attended their course with Spokane MotorSchool are given their first knowledge test and skills test free of charge. There will be a fee for subsequent attempts. Please call the office for more information.
How long does the test take?
The knowledge test is 40 questions (multiple choice) and you are allowed 45 minutes. The drive (skills) test usually takes 15-20 minutes.
What happens after I pass my test(s)?
Scores are entered electronically into the DOL system within 3 days. You may then visit your local Licensing office to obtain your permit/license.
